The Teacher
Caralyn brings her skills and passions into every lesson, attracting aspiring musicians and singer-songwriters of all ages and styles.
Caralyn Taylor is an established live venue performer with over 10 years of teaching experience and a BA in music. She is a dedicated, patient and enthusiastic instructor.
Caralyn teaches contemporary voice, guitar, piano, applied theory, songwriting and arranging to students of all ages and levels and particularly enjoys teaching singers how to accompany themselves while they sing.
Caralyn’s education and performance experience have empowered her with a unique ability to understand the needs of her students and the facility to adapt learning materials to their unique creative goals.
The Lessons
Caralyn offers lessons in voice, piano and guitar and enjoys helping students to accompany themselves while they sing.

It is difficult to find an instructor that focuses adjusting their teaching techniques to accommodate to the students personality and interests. Caralyn is always cheerful and motivating. She provides feedback and corrections in a positive manner. My daughter has been attending her sessions for approximately two years.
She has helped with guitar and vocal lessons with songs ranging from “What’s Up”, Disney Songs, Beatles, Guns n Roses, and 80’s rock, just to name a few. She introduces good vocal exercises and recommendations on guitar techniques.
